Ingredients
500g Kara Doughballs
400g Ricotta Cheese
400g Pepperoni Slices
200g Red Pepper
200g Green Pepper
400g Mozzarella
200g Parmesan
400ml Tomato Sauce
160g Fresh Basil, chopped
50ml Olive Oil
Process
Using Kara’s wholesale dough, which should be freshly proved (see our how to guide for help), roll our your dough into long strips and begin to wrap the strips around a mould. Make sure you wrap this as tight as you can until the sides are stuck together. Crack and beat an egg and brush your egg mixture over the top of the dough. Place in the oven and bake the cones until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
Chop pepperoni slices, red pepper, and mix with ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese and chopped mozzarella. Add a little oil and some basil on top.
Once your pizza cones are cooled, fill with the cheese mix and top off each with a piece of pepperoni. Bake for a further 5 minutes and serve with tomato sauce dip.
