Ingredients
Pizza sauce
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 soft pear, peeled and sliced
Soft goats cheese
Mozzarella, torn
Basil, chopped
Process
Take a Kara Dough Ball and hand stretch to your preferred thickness.
Top with a thin layer of tomato sauce base, thin slices of red onion, peeled and sliced pears.
Add thick slices of goats cheese and a little mozzarella (to get that lovely stretchy cheese!).
Bake for 10 minutes in a hot oven until golden and crispy.
Garnish with chopped basil and serve immediately.
Storage & handling
Kara’s Doughballs should be stored frozen at -18°C or below. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
To defrost
Take the required amount of dough balls from the freezer and place 2″ (5cm) apart on a baking tray. To avoid the doughball skinning, cover with a lightly greased film and place in the refrigerator overnight.
Once defrosted, store in the fridge (5°C) and consume within two days.
