Combining the classic ingredients of Mexico with Italy, our Pizza Quesadillas offer a different option for a starter or sharing plate.

Kara Dough Balls
Chorizo, cut it into chunks
Red pepper
Chopped fresh tomatoes
Grated cheddar and mozzarella
Sprinkle of paprika
Process
Cut Kara Dough Balls in half and roll them out into two circles.
Mix all of the pizza quesadilla ingredients together and spread on the dough base (leaving a couple of centimetres from the edge). Top with the other doughball circle and crimp the edges.
Bake in a pizza oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
Top tip: For extra punch, top with spicy chilli sauce and crispy bacon bits.
Storage & handling
Kara’s Doughballs should be stored frozen at -18°C or below. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
To defrost
Take the required amount of dough balls from the freezer and place 2″ (5cm) apart on a baking tray. To avoid the doughball skinning, cover with a lightly greased film and place in the refrigerator overnight.
Once defrosted, store in the fridge (5°C) and consume within two days.
