Japanese Okonomiyaki-style Pizza

Try this Japanese Okonomiyaki-style Pizza by using a variety of Asian toppings – from seaweed to wasabi!

Kara Dough Ball

Tomato pizza sauce

Handful white cabbage, shredded

1/2 white onion, thinly sliced

Crispy seaweed

Olive oil

Wasabi mayonnaise


Start by rolling out a Kara Doughball to the desired shape and lightly prick the dough with a fork.

Cover the base with an equal layer of tomato pizza sauce.

Gently fry a handful of white cabbage with the white onion until soft. Stir in the seaweed and then spread over the pizza base.

Cook the pizza for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Finish with drizzles of wasabi mayonnaise and serve immediately.

Top tip: Serve with a cool, cold glass of Asahi Dry Beer or Ramune soft drink for the ultimate taste experience.
