Chilli Lover’s Burger

Take a classic burger… turn it on its head and up the heat! Made using wholesale brioche buns, Kara’s Chilli Lover’s Burger is the ultimate taste experience for chilli aficionados.

Kara Gourmet Brioche Bun

1 tbsp coleslaw (cheese coleslaw works best!)

Lettuce, shredded

Sliced yellow pepper

British beef burger

Cheese slice(s)

Long red chilli (we suggest cayenne or jalapeno)

Small handful of bacon lardons

1 tbsp mayonnaise

1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

Onion rings


Lightly toast Kara’s Gourmet Brioche Bun until golden, then set aside.

Heat the oven to 230°.  Place the onion rings on a tray and cook for 10 minutes.

Cook the burger to the customer’s preference.

Fry the bacon until it begins to crisp. Once cooked, set to one side.

Begin to build the burger! On the base of the brioche bun, add a good spoonful of coleslaw, then layer with shredded lettuce, sliced peppers and then the patty. Add a slice of cheese (optional) and the long red chilli, followed by the cooked bacon lardons, mayonnaise and red onion. Finish with three onion rings.

Serve immediately with a light side salad or chunky chips.
