Ingredients
4 Kara Vegan Brioche Style Buns
200g Mozzarella
200ml Olive Oil
500g Italian Sausage
250g Parmesan
500ml Pizza Sauce
20 Pepperoni Slices
50g Fresh Basil, chopped
50g Fresh Thyme, chopped
Process
Lightly brush the brioche burger buns with olive oil on all sides. Place them on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake for around 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
Chop and brown up the Italian sausage over a medium-high heat in a pan. Once done, remove the sausage, place it into a paper towel-lined bowl, and set aside.
Spread the pizza sauce across the cut surface of each half burger bun.
Top the brioche with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese. Divide the parmesan cheese equally among the burger buns.
Top half of the buns with pepperoni slices, and the other with the cooked Italian sausage.
Top with mozzarella and grill until the cheese is bubbling.
