1 Kara Brioche Burger Bun
1 Banana, chopped
1 Chocolate Chip Cookie
For the caramel sauce
250g Caster Sugar
142ml Double Cream
For the caramel sauce: Tip the sugar into a heavy-based frying pan, stir in 4 tbsp water, then place over a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Turn up the heat and bubble for 4-5 mins until you have caramel. Take off the heat, then carefully stir in the cream and butter.
Take your brioche and begin to grill.
Place cookie in the microwave and begin to warm for 30 seconds
Take the brioche from under the grill and spread the base with Nutella. Top with the warm cookie and banana chunks, before drizzling over the warm caramel sauce. Place on the lid of the bun and serve with ice cream. (try our brown bread ice cream recipe here)
We also topped with icing and decorations for an extra nostalgic touch.
