Make the most out of your leftover bread with this brunch classic, Croque Monsieur Bake. Serve with a simple side salad or decadent soup.

Dice the bread of your choosing, we recommend Kara Thick White Bloomer Bread or Fletchers Thick White Bread, and place the bread into an oven proof dish.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper, then pour the mixture over the diced bread.

Also to the dish, add the chives, thyme and cooked ham/pancetta and give everything a good mix, before topping with the grated cheese and place into the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes

Serve with a simple side salad and cream.
