Once you have your rolled dough cut into squares, as many as you can, as big or as small as you desire
To bake: place each Danish on a linked baking tray and place in a preheated over for 20 minutes or until golden
For The Christmas Conserve Danish
For half of the dough square place 1 large tbsp. of Christmas conserve in the centre then pull 4 corners over and pinch to seal. Drizzle Icing sugar, made by mixing Icing sugar water and vanilla extract just before serving.
For The Cranberry & Pecan
Whizz 40g pecans until fine, then stir in the jam of choosing.
Cut each square of dough almost to the middle from each corner, spoon on 1 tsp of filling into the middle of each, then fold each point over and press into the middle.
Scatter more chopped pecans and a little sugar over before baking. Drizzle with icing sugar just before serving
