Looking for a simple, yet flavoursome, dish to tingle the tastebuds? Using a sourdough loaf, our Mushroom Bruschetta is perfect to enjoy as a brunch item or as a starter.

On a low heat, gently melt the butter in a non-stick pan

Whilst the butter is melting, slice the mushrooms and add into the pan along with the garlic, chopped thyme, salt and pepper (to taste)

Take your bread of choice (we recommend our White Artisan Sourdough Loaf) and cut it into slices. Toast the sliced pieces of bread until a light golden colour.

Once toasted, place the mushrooms from the pan onto each slice of bread and top with the shredded mozzarella

Place under the grill and heat until the mozzarella turns a golden brown colour

Serve with a simple salad and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
