Goats Cheese, Fig & Honey Bruschetta

Brighten up your canape offer with this tasty vegetarian recipe, made from wholesale baguettes. This flavoursome combination also makes a stunning starter.

  • 5 minutes
  • 4-6 people
  • Slice Kara’s White Petit Pain Baguette and lightly toast under the grill.
  • Top with thinly sliced soft, juicy figs and a generous layer of crumbled goats cheese.
  • Top tip: For extra colour and crunch, top with lightly toasted pumpkin seeds, a drizzle of honey and a freshly ground black pepper.
  • Serve as part of your canape selection or plate 2-3 bruschetta as a starter.

Please note, Kara’s Baguettes are supplied frozen for convenience. Defrost at room temperature for approximately 2 hours or until fully defrosted. Once defrosted, store in a sealed pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use within 2 days.  This baguette can be eaten once defrosted but we recommend that it is refreshed for a few minutes in the oven (200°C, Gas Mark 6). Do not refreeze.
