Kara has expanded its Indulgent Cake collection with the introduction of a new range of Sliced cakes, including two unique Thorntons slices
Kara; the pioneering foodservice brand of the Finsbury Food Group, has launched a new and exciting range of indulgent sliced cakes and mallow bombes. In January this year, under the Finsbury umbrella; Kara launched twelve 10 inch round cakes. Following the success of this launch Kara has now developed a new range of indulgent sliced cakes.
Launching under the Indulgent Cake Collection, the new innovative sliced cakes include twelve sumptuous flavours and two Thornton’s Caramel shortcakes. The Kara collection offers a variety of pre-portioned cakes consisting of new and unique flavours and much loved classics, catering to a broad array of menus. Classic cake options include Indulgent Chocolate Brownie and Elegant Caramel Shortbread, to more in vogue on trend flavour combinations such as Speculaas Spiced Brownie and a Dreamy Coconut and Raspberry slice.
Jane Deegan, Kara Marketing Manager said, ‘The sliced cakes are a great addition to the Indulgent Cake Collection, the cakes are expertly crafted and all come ready portioned. As industry research has shown, just this year alone, coffee shops have accounted for 15% of total consumer eating out visits which is forecasted to continue to grow by 6.5% by the end of 2016, the introduction of Kara sliced cakes to the Indulgent Cake Collection comes at a great time.’
The new Kara cakes are a great indulgent cake to accompany the 70 million cups of coffee that are consumed everyday in the UK. Much like Kara’s existing 10 inch cakes, all snacking cakes are produced with the highest quality of ingredients, bringing a wealth of flavours and aromas to the cafe market.
